Ben oltre la world music, più nello stile di Manu Chao e di quegli artisti che non si limitano a mescolare stili musicali, ma trasformano la loro vita in musica. “Avete mai sentito come se la musica avesse il potere di trasportarvi in un luogo lontano, in una terra dove il ritmo è allo stesso tempo pura emozione e strumento per unire le persone?” 

Questa è la musica di Sandro Joyeux! Nato a Parigi ma globetrotter nell’anima, Sandro Joyeux ha viaggiato per migliaia di chilometri con la sua chitarra in spalla, assorbendo e fondendo le tradizioni, i dialetti e i suoni del Sud del mondo. Canta in francese, inglese, italiano, arabo e vari dialetti come il bambara, il wolof e il dioula. Profondamente ispirato da un mondo in movimento, dove le culture si incontrano e si mescolano, è stato in prima linea in innumerevoli iniziative a sostegno dei migranti. 

Ha suonato centinaia di concerti, esibendosi in club e nei principali festival di world music, sia in Italia che all’estero. Vedere Sandro Joyeux dal vivo è una vera e propria iniezione di energia, un viaggio tra i ritmi del deserto, le strade polverose dell’Africa occidentale, le banlieue parigine e le vibrazioni reggae dei ghetti giamaicani. That’s Sandro Joyeux’s music! Born in Paris but a globetrotter at heart, Sandro Joyeux has traveled thousands of miles with his guitar on his back, soaking up and blending the traditions, dialects, and sounds of the Global South. He sings in French, English, Italian, Arabic, and various dialects like Bambara, Wolof, and Dioula. 

Deeply inspired by a world on the move, where cultures meet and mix, he’s been at the forefront of countless initiatives in support of migrants. He’s played hundreds of gigs, performing at clubs and top world music festivals, both in Italy and abroad. Seeing Sandro Joyeux live is a shot of pure energy, a journey through the rhythms of the desert, the dusty streets of West Africa, the Parisian banlieues, and the reggae vibes of Jamaican ghettos. Whether he’s performing solo or with his band, you won’t be able to stand still!
