An event that enhances diversity and promotes intercultural dialogue by developing artistic internationalization projects by supporting networking activities, international cultural operators from all over the world and a large Italian team of musicians and professionals are involved.
NAPOLI WORLD aims for a program that reflects the essence of cultural inclusion, cooperation and the valorization of diversity, thus promoting the musical internationalization of Italian artists with a focus on those from Campania region and Southern Italy.
NAPOLI WORLD is the only Italian showcase festival dedicated to world music and folk, it represents a unique opportunity for artists, cultural operators and professionals in the sector, allowing them to compare, create collaborations and start new cultural exchange projects.
The program includes Showcases, Panels, Speed Meetings, Workshops and night-time Live DJ Sets, for a complete and immersive cultural experience, with the artistic direction of Maestro Enzo Avitabile.
NAPOLI WORLD demonstrates how diversity enriches the entire community by representing itself as a meeting place without barriers. The sounds, rhythms and stories coming from different countries unite people and cultures that are geographically distant, but intimately linked by a common feeling.
The festival is a statement in support of diversity as an added value, demonstrating how cultural influences are crucial in enriching the contemporary musical panorama.

Participants have the chance to attend concerts by artists of national and international importance during the festival days. A privileged space is reserved for local talents who make Naples a hotbed of creativity and innovation.
The festival has become an event in Naples and its citizens, as well as for the many tourists present, affirming its role as the cultural capital of the Mediterranean.
Every year, the program’s events are sold out and involve thousands of people over the course of three days.
The selected artistic projects from the many applications have the chance to perform and be heard by various national and international artistic directors and cultural operators, which is a genuine chance for professional advancement and exposure.
The meetings between professionals took place at the headquarters of the Casa delle Cultura – Palazzo Cavalcanti and gave rise to opportunities for exchanging ideas and building lasting professional relationships.
These actions help to improve the level of musical professionalism in Campania and the national area, encourage natural internationalization developments, and make it easier to export Neapolitan music to international markets.

Enzo Avitabile is an acclaimed Italian musician, composer, and saxophonist from Naples.
Renowned for his unique blend of Neapolitan tradition, world music, jazz, and soul, he has built a distinctive and deeply spiritual musical language.
Over his career, he has collaborated with international artists such as James Brown, Tina Turner, and Afrika Bambaataa.
His work often explores themes of identity, social issues, and cultural roots, establishing him as one of the most influential voices in contemporary world music.
Not only showcase, original language or sustainability: UPBEAT Platform, the first-ever showcase platform for world music in Europe is much more than that!
