Portata all’attenzione del pubblico grazie a The Voice e vincitrice del Baco Records Contest, Mariaa ha già un curriculum impressionante: Prix du Mondial des Femmes ad Abidjan (2020) Nomination ai Victoires du Reggae Finalista al Prix Découvertes RFI Membro del progetto Jazz Women in Africa Con oltre 200 concerti al suo attivo, ha calcato i palchi dei festival più prestigiosi: Africajarc, Festival des Femmes a Montreal, Atlantic Music Expo, Sfinks Mixed, No Logo, SunSka, ecc., e nel 2023 ha vinto la medaglia d’argento alla Gwangju Busking World Cup in Corea del Sud. Artista femminile dell’anno ai Casamance Music Awards nel 2023 e nel 2024, Mariaa Siga colpisce anche per la sua ricca discografia: un album, un EP, singoli e numerose apparizioni come ospite.
