Benito Lopes has been the director of Atlantic Music Expo since August 2024 and president of the Board of Directors of the Cabo Verde Cultural Association – Cultural and Social Promotion. For two decades, Benito Lopes has worked in cultural production and logistics management, working with renowned national artists such as Tcheka, Nancy Vieira, Lura, Cesária Évora, Ildo Lobo, among others.
His resume includes companies such as Harmonia, Lda, which has allowed him to accumulate knowledge and professional experience in event management in its various aspects.
In terms of event production, Benito Lopes’s CV includes: Baía das Gatas Festival, Santa Maria Festival, Kriol Jazz Festival, Atlantic Music Expo (AME). Recently, CVMA 2024, he participated in the production of the programs Mindelo Convida and Cidade Velha Convida, both for RTP África, produced by the Cape Verdean Image Agency (ACI), adding his experience in the film sector.
