Trevize è l’innovativo progetto del producer pugliese Francesco Barletta, nato dall’incontro perfetto tra la matrice ritmica e orale della tradizione del Sud Italia e i linguaggi elettronici contemporanei.

Ritmiche tradizionali, melodie, dialetto e strumenti acustici vengono completamente trasformati e ricomposti attraverso le lenti del global beat, della bass music, dell’improvvisazione e della club culture.

Nessuna tradizione messa sotto spirito, nessun clubbing senza memoria: il progetto è un cortocircuito dal vivo tra ciò che resta e ciò che cambia. Sul palco, insieme al sassofonista Giovanni Chirico e al percussionista Federico Laganà, Francesco Barletta dà vita a una performance travolgente in cui gli strumenti acustici e l’elettronica dialogano in tempo reale.

Trevize is the project of Apulian producer Francesco Barletta, born from the encounter between the rhythmic and oral matrix of Southern Italian tradition and contemporary electronic languages.

Traditional rhythms, melodies, dialect, and instruments are transformed and recomposed through global beat, bass music, improvisation, and club culture.

No tradition put under glass, no clubbing without memory: a live short-circuit between what remains and what changes. On stage, together with saxophonist Giovanni Chirico and percussionist Federico Laganà, Francesco builds a performance where acoustic instruments and electronics dialogue in real time.
