I work as a music and events executive producer in Cape Verde since 1994.
Em 1995 criei a AV Produções com a qual trabalho no agenciamento de artistas, promoção, produção executiva e manager. Como agente represento mais de 20 grupos musicais e artistas, dos mais importantes de Cabo Verde, Guiné e Angola da antiga e nova geração.
In 1995 i created AV Produções with whom i work as a booking agent, promoter, executive producer and manager. I represent more than 20 of the most important bands and artists from Cape Verde, Guiné and Angola, from the old and new generation.
Em 2009 fundei a Ritmo de Som Eventos Lda, com a qual trabalho na organização de eventos e festivais e da qual sou diretor geral. Trabalho com os maiores festivais de Cabo Verde e no mundo há mais de 25 anos.
In 2009 i created Ritmo de Som Eventos Lda with whom i work in the organization of events and festivals and where I am the general manager. I work with the biggest festivals in Cape Verde and the world for more than 25 years.
Sou manager de dois dos maiores grupos musicais de Cabo Verde, Ferro Gaita e Tubarões fazendo agenciamento para Cabo Verde de artistas e bandas como Djodje, Calema, Tabanka Djaz e muitos outros, tendo participado em vários festivais e mercados musicais pelo mundo (Womex, Visa for Music, Babel Med, etc…) como manager, road manager e agente.
I am the manager of two of the biggest bands from Cape Verde, Ferro Gaita and Tubarões and I am the booking agent to Cape Verde of artists and bands such as Djodje, Calema, Tabanka Djaz and many others, having participated in festivals and music markets around the world (Womex, Visa for Music, Babel Med, etc…) as manager, road manager and agent.
Sou fundador e membro da direção da SCM Sociedade Caboverdeana de Música e sócio fundador da Associação de Produtores de Eventos de Cabo Verde.
I am founder and member of the executive board of the Capeverdean music society and founding member of the Cape Verdean Association of event producers.
Em 2017 fui o ponto focal do projecto Lusafro da Womex em Cabo Verde e desde Novembro de 2017 sou Director Geral do Atlantic Music Expo em representação da Associação Cabo Verde Musical, tendo já realizado as edições de 2018, 2019, 2022 e 2023, com uma média de 500 delegados cada.
Em 2022 fui o coordenador da participação cultural e musical de cabo Verde na Expo Dubai.
In 2017 i was the focal point of the Womex Project Lusafro in Cape Verde and since November of 2017 I became the general manager of the Atlantic Music Expo – AME in representation of the Associação Cultural Cabo Verde, who organized the editions in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023, with around 500 delegates each.
In 2022 I was the coordinator of the cultural and musical participation of Cape Verde at the Dubai Expo.
