Angelo Valori, composer, conductor, and internationally acclaimed teacher, began his career at a young age, performing his own compositions at prestigious European and American festivals and events.
He composed the music for the dance production “Cleopatra,” performed as part of the 2008 season at the Rome Opera House. His compositions have been recorded on several CDs, including Notturno Mediterraneo (Egea Records, with Gil Goldstein, Marco Zurzolo, Pietro Tonolo, and Gabriele Mirabassi), Dove volare gli angeli (Wide Sound, with Bob Mintzer and Fabrizio Bosso), and Il Caffè Dalle Americhe (Wide Sound, with Javier Girotto). He conducted music by Rota, Piazzolla, and Part on a CD by the Adriatico Ensemble and performed the world premiere of his “Variazioni” for Electric Bass and String Orchestra with John Patitucci. In March 2025, the CD “Canto Conte,” dedicated to the songs of Paolo Conte, was released, featuring Ilaria Patassini and the Medit Orchestra.
He is the permanent conductor of the Medit Orchestra, with which he has collaborated with Dee Dee Bridgewater, Manhattan Transfer, Take 6, Fabrizio Bosso, Serena Brancale, Karima, Ada Montellanico, Maria Pia De Vito, Rita Marcotulli, Avion Travel, Malika Ayane, Morgan, and Sergio Cammariere.
