Imed Alibi is a Tunisian musician and composer. Throughout his career, Imed’s experience spans from music performance and composition to artistic direction, cultural management, and project consultancy. He worked as the Artistic Director of International Festival of Carthage (2020/2021) and Carthage Music Days (JMC)in 2019, and for Sousse International Percussion Festival for 3 years. He has collaborated as a jury member of Visa for Music in Morocco, Babel Music XP in Marseille, Al Mawred,Institut Francais , Arabesques in Montpellier and Music in Africa .
As an artistic advisor, he has worked with Le Silo in South of France for 5 years, and recently with Candid Foundation in Germany on the Alhan Libya project. As a subject matter expert, he worked for the UNESCO program in Morocco Music and Sustainable Development led by Anya. In addition, he has been chosen to be the subject matter expert for the future European capitals of culture .
Imed was nominated in march 2023 head of music department of the agency of artists in exile in Paris He is the artisitic director of Carthage music days 2024. In 2021 He was nominated Knight of Arts and Letters In France by the minister of culture .
